16-01 STEP

For the months of May and June, 2020 the contractor completed 79 house connections to the Southern Kent Island public sewer system; those locations were Elm Street, Petinot and Margaret Drive, Baltimore, Dorchester, Kent, Maryland, New Jersey, North Lake, Oregon, Romancoke, Somerset, South Carolina, Talbot, Tennessee, Washington, Wicomico Roads.  Twenty -one STEP tanks were installed on Petinot and Margaret Drive, Baltimore, Somerset, Talbot, Tennessee and Washington Roads.  The contractor installed 21 electric meter replacements / modifications for both months.  The contractor continues with daily yard stabilization and restorations.  For the month of July, the contractor will continue sewer utility operations on Talbot, Somerset and Tennessee Roads, locations are subject to change.   SKI sewer work street signs will be updated and posted.   County staff has performed 703 pre- construction meetings and acquired 761 easements to date.

• County staff has performed 36 post-construction site visits to date. 
• The contractor has installed 619 STEP tanks to date.  
• The contractor has connected 402 houses to the public sewer system to date.
