Project Update 02.17.17

STEP

Contractor has one more tank to install on Touhey. This tank will be installed on Monday, 02/20/17. The contractor will then move to Margaret Drive to start installing tanks on 02/27/17. The contractor will be using next week to complete restoration on Touhey and prepare for tank installs on Margaret Drive. The contractor has installed 14 tanks to date.

Community Mains

Contractor has received pipe to start installation of these mains. Contractor is concentrating on the Transmission Mains and anticipated a start of the Community Mains in about 3 weeks.

Transmission Mains

Contractor has installed over 3 miles of transmission mains and is making good progress. The contractor anticipates installing the 24″ HDD portion of the main under RT 50 the week of 02/27/17. Some of the direction drill portions have been installed, mainly in front of the United Communities Fire House through Carroll, Harford and to Margaret roads.
