16-01 STEP

This week and last week the contractor completed 9 house connections to the Public Sewer System on Elm and Oak Street, Maryland and Oregon Roads and currently working on 1 additional house connections today located on Maryland Road.  The contractor installed 2 STEP Tanks on Cecil and Oregon Road for both weeks.  Seven pump assemblies were installed to a previously installed BIO tubes in addition to installing 374LF of 4”gravity sewer line to the individual homes.  The contractor completed 14 septic tank abandonments during both weeks. Six control panels were installed by the contractor along with 608LF of 1” electrical conduit and 352LF of 1” pressure sewer line drilling.   Ten electric meter replacements / modifications were installed by the contractor for both weeks on Bay Drive and Tennessee Road.  The contractor also worked on yard restorations throughout the Kent Island Estates Community.  Next week, the contractor will continue with 1” drill shots and priority list house connections.  The contractor will continue to post signs for upcoming house connection locations next.
