SKI STEP Phase 2 & COMMUNITY MAIN SEWER Phase 3 PROJECT UPDATE 4.30.23

21-01 STEP (200 Existing Homes)

Progress for the months of March and April 2023, SKI Sewer Project Phase 2 – Tower Gardens.

The contractor completed installing 23 STEP tanks and connecting 24 houses to Public Sewer.

Those installs and connections completed Oxbow Drive, picked up a few on Tower and almost

half of South Lake Dr & Ct.  During the upcoming months sewer utility work will continue on South Lake Drive

moving forward to King George Ct, Tower Drive and Kent Point Rd.

Yard Restoration (backfilling & seeding) will be ongoing and continue throughout the end of phase 2.

Only 23 remaining properties in phase 2 require electric meter work.

• County Staff has performed a total of 199 Pre-construction meetings and acquired 200 Easements.
• The contractor has installed 124 STEP tanks to date.
• The contractor has connected 124 Houses to the public sewer system to date.
• Total Phase 2 homes connected to the public sewer system 157 to date.

22-02 Community Main (340 Existing Homes)

Progress for the months of March and April 2023, SKI Sewer Project Phase 3 Community Main Kentmorr and Queen Anne Colony

169 LF of 3” and 4” HDPE Pressure sewer main was directional drilled and tied in.

Out of 126 properties in Kentmorr 98 curb stops have been installed.

• To date the County has received 331 Right -of-Entry Forms and acquired 161 Easements.
