STEP

Five STEP tanks were installed this week on Maryland and New Jersey Roads; contractor held seven pre-construction meetings with homeowners. County staff acquired four easements bringing the total number of easements acquired to 368, 47% of the total required, keep them coming. Contractor will continue installing tanks on New Jersey Road and start to move to Oregon Road. 

Community

Contractor installed about 1350 feet of pipe by mostly open cut this week on Somerset and Talbot Roads.

Transmission

Contractor installed 200 feet of 14” PVC by the open cut method along Rt8 North of Wood Moor Road. Most of the week was spent drilling out the 2000 feet for the next pull back. Thursday saw about 1100 feet of pipe being staged to the end of the next drill shot. Pipe is scheduled to be pulled back next week.
