SKI Project Update 9.7.2018

Step

The contractor installed 4 STEP tanks for the week on Penny Lane and Long Point Road.  They also drilled 366lf of 1″ pressure sewer line on Wicomico Road.  The contractor worked on yard restorations on Penny Lane and Wicomico Road.  Next week, weather permitting the contractor will continue drill shots on Wicomico Road.  The contractor installed 04 electric meter replacement / modifications on Harford and Olive Branch Roads this week.  The contractor plans to continue with electric meter installs on Pennick and Olive Branch Roads next week.    County Staff has acquired 732 easements and has conducted 407 pre-construction meetings to date.

Community

The contractor installed 27 curb stops and 643lf of 1″ service tubing on South Carolina Road and Maryland Road for the week.  The contractor will continue curb stop placements on Maryland Road next week. 

Transmission

The contractor completed milling/overlay patchwork on Route 8 across from the Airport and Farmer John’s Produce Stand.
