STEP

This week the contractor completed 2 house connections to the Public Sewer System on Maryland and Harford Roads and currently they are working on 2 additional house connections on Maryland and Utah Roads.  The contractor installed three STEP tanks on Utah and Virginia Roads for the week.  The contractor installed 1 BIO tube with pump, one pump to a previously install BIO tube and two BIO tubes without pumps in addition to installing 140LF of gravity sewer line to the individual homes.  The contractor completed 2 septic tank abandonments this week.  Three control panels were installed this week by the contractor along with 383LF of electrical conduit.  The contractor installed 10 electric meter replacements / modifications on Elm Street, South Carolina, Utah, and Virginia Roads.  Next week, the contractor will continue with 1” drill shots and priority list house connections.

• County staff has performed 524 pre- construction meetings and acquired 754 easements to date.
• The contractor has installed 441 STEP tanks to date.
• The contractor has connected 27 houses to the public sewer system to date.
