STEP

This week the contractor completed 5 house connections to the Public Sewer System on Allegany Road.  Five STEP tanks were installed by the contractor this week on Allegany Road.  Five STEP  assemblies with pumps were installed in addition to 113LF of 4” gravity sewer line installed to those individual homes.  The contractor completed 6 septic tank abandonments.  Five control panels were placed by the contractor along with the installation of 1,207LF of electrical conduit and 1″ pressure sewer line.  On Point Road and Dorchester Road the contractor worked on 10 electric meter replacements /modifications for the week.  The contractor continues with daily yard stabilizations and restorations.  Next week, the contractor will continue with 1″ drill shots, existing and priority list house connections.  The contractor will update road signs for upcoming house connection locations.  County staff has performed 591 pre- construction meetings and acquired 756 easements to date.
