This week the contractor completed 5 house connections to the Public Sewer System on Allegany Road.  Five STEP tanks were installed by the contractor this week on Allegany Road.  Three STEP pump assemblies were installed to previously installed BIO tubes and 2 STEP assemblies with BIO tubes were installed in addition to 237LF of 4” gravity sewer line installed to those individual homes.  The contractor completed 6 septic tank abandonments.  Five control panels were placed by the contractor along with the installation of 1,033LF of electrical conduit and 1″ pressure sewer line.   The contractor continues with daily yard stabilizations and restorations.  Next week, the contractor will continue with 1″ drill shots, existing and priority list house connections.  The contractor will update road signs for upcoming house connection locations.  County staff has performed 591 pre- construction meetings and acquired 756 easements to date.
