STEP

During the first two weeks of November the contractor completed 6 house connections to the Public Sewer System and installed Five STEP tanks on Bay Drive and Queen Anne Road.   The contractor installed 326LF of 4” gravity sewer line to those individual homes along with completing 7 septic tank abandonments.  Four control panels were placed by the contractor and 870LF of electrical conduit and 1″ pressure sewer line was installed.  On Wicomico and Kent Road the contractor worked on completing 5 electric meter replacements /modifications with disconnects.  The contractor continues with daily yard stabilization and restorations.  Next week, the contractor will continue utility operations; drilling 1” service lines, installing STEP tanks and house connections on Queen Anne Road.  Additional locations will be posted.  County staff has performed 633 pre- construction meetings and acquired 756 easements to date.
