During the first 2 weeks of July the contractor completed 4 house connections to the Public Sewer System on New Jersey Road and Penny Lane. The contractor installed 4 STEP tanks on Worcester, Tennessee and South Carolina Roads. Three STEP pump assemblies were installed to previously installed BIO tubes, 1 BIO tube with STEP pump assembly and 4 BIO tubes without STEP pump assemblies were installed in addition to 209LF of 4″ gravity sewer line installed to the individual homes. The contractor completed 5 septic tank abandonments for both weeks. On Bay Drive, the contractor drilled 235LF of 1″ pressure sewer line. Five Control panels were installed along with 508LF of electrical conduit. The contractor continues with daily yard restorations. Next week, the contractor will continue with 1″ drill shots, STEP tank installs in addition to existing and priority list house connections. The contractor will update road signs for upcoming house connection locations. Extended work day hours for the contractor are also in effect for the summer. The county staff has performed 573 pre- construction meetings and acquired 756 easements to date.
