STEP

This week the contractor completed 4 house connections to the Public Sewer System on Oak Street, New Jersey and Maryland Roads.  The contractor installed 2 STEP tanks on Utah and Somerset Roads.   Four STEP pump assemblies were installed to a previously installed BIO tubes in addition to 177LF of 4″gravity sewer line installed to the individual homes.  The contractor completed 4 septic tank abandonments during the week.  Three control panels were placed by the contractor along with the installation of 214LF of 1″ electrical conduit and 1″ pressure sewer line.  The contractor continues with daily yard restorations.  Next week, the contractor will continue with 1″ drill shots, existing and priority list house connections.  The contractor will update road signs for upcoming house connection locations.  County staff has performed 574 pre- construction meetings and acquired 755 easements to date.
