STEP

The contractor had a slow week due to rain and unfavorable weather conditions.   This week, two house connections to the public sewer system and three STEP tank installs were completed on Queen Anne Road. The contractor continues with daily yard stabilization and restorations.  Next week, the contractor will continue utility operations; drilling 1” service lines, installing STEP tanks and house connections on Queen Anne Road.  Locations are subject to change.  Signs will be updated and posted.  The contractor will not be working Christmas Day or the day after Christmas. County staff has performed 644 pre- construction meetings and acquired 757 easements to date.

• County staff has performed 36 post-construction meetings to date.
• The contractor has installed 548 STEP tanks to date.
• The contractor has connected 214 houses to the public sewer system to date.
