Project Update 11.17.17


Contractor installed 6 tanks for the week on North Lake Road. They plan to continue with tank installs on Virginia Road next week. County staff has performed 242 pre-construction meetings with homeowners and have acquired 629 easements to date.  


Contractor installed about 120lf of pipe by the open-cut method. This pipe was installed to make tie-ins, along with setting division valves and clean-outs on Virginia, Wicomico, Kent, and Washington Roads. Contractor will continue with clean-outs and tie-ins on Wicomico and St. Mary’s Road next week.



Contractor installed 170′ of 14″ PVC pipe by the open-cut method between Craney Creek and Kentmoor across from the Elks Lodge. They installed 20′ of 2″ HDPE for the spur on Virginia. They also installed about 300′ of 8″ HDPE, open trench, from the drill shot at Tennessee heading towards Utah. Contractor also restored the trail south of Sassafras Lane. Contractor will continue trail pavement restoration north of Sassafras and begin laying 12″ HDPE pipe from south of Queens Colony High Road heading north to Kentmoor Rd.  

Next week will be a shortened week due to the Thanksgiving Holidays.
