SKI Project Update 7.20.18

Step

The contractor installed 5 step tanks for the week on Pennick Drive, Harford and Olive Branch Roads.  They also drilled 515lf of 1” pressure sewer line on Utah Road.  The contractor did yard restorations on Pennick Drive, Harford and Olive Branch Roads.  The contractor will continue drill shots on Utah Road next week.  The contractor installed 10 electric meter replacement / modifications on Penny Lane this week.  The contractor plans to continue with electric meter installs on Penny Lane next week.    County Staff has acquired 712 easements and has conducted 374 pre–construction meetings to date.

Community

The contractor installed 24 curb stops for the week with 607lf of 1” service lines Bay Drive and Beach Road.  The contractor will continue curb stop installs on Bay Drive and Virginia Road next week.  The contractor completed continuity testing in Phase A (Romancoke on the Bay) and Phase B (Kent Island Estates- East of Route 8).  The contractor has essentially completed continuity testing in Phase C.

Transmission

The contractor and inspector continue to work on the on-going punch list items.  This week, the contractor completed trail restoration at Craney Creek, Virginia Road and Touhey Drive.  The contractor also continues to haul material from Batts Neck Road to Mattapex.
