This week the contractor completed three house connections to the Public Sewer System on Olive Branch and Harford Roads and is currently working on three additional house connections on Maryland Road and Penny Lane.  The snow day on Wednesday slowed down construction for the contractor this week.  The contractor installed 2 pumps to previously installed BIO tubes and also installed 2 BIO tubes with pumps in addition to installing 105’ of gravity sewer line to the individual homes.  The contractor completed 7 septic tank abandonments this week.  Next week, the contractor will continue with 1” drill shots and priority list house connections.  The contractor has installed 435 STEP tanks to date.    County staff has performed 520 pre- construction meetings and acquired 751 easements to date.
